Interior Ministry upgrades civil-protection readiness and regional reporting lines
Local governors and emergency offices have been instructed to standardize incident reporting, shelter audits, and reserve communications checks.
The Ministry of the Interior announced on March 27, 2026 that all regional administrations must complete a 72-hour review of emergency contact chains, shelter access, and public warning procedures ahead of the rainy season and other high-demand response periods.
Minister Marek Voss said the measure is designed to improve reporting speed, align local decisions with national command guidance, and ensure that public-facing institutions can scale support rapidly if required. Regional offices were directed to verify backup communications and log any infrastructure vulnerabilities needing immediate repair.
The ministry added that the review is a resilience measure and does not change the current threat level for daily civilian activity.
